We represent clients in disputes regarding compensation forenvironmental damage , challenging orders and administrative penalties for violation of environmental requirements , etc.
Selected Projects
- Repeated successful representation of the interests of one of the largest pulp and paper companies in the framework of challenging the orders of regulatory authorities, as well as in the course of appealing decisions on bringing to administrative liability;
- Drafting amendments to forest legislation, participation in specialized working groups and supporting the draft law as part of its further approval;
- Termination of the criminal case in the absence of the event of the offence under Art. 250 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (water pollution);
- Successful representation of the interests of natural resource users in disputes regarding compensation for environmental damage , up to the refusal to satisfy such claims or a significant reduction incompensation amount ;
- Successful legal support of the interests of natural resource users in cases of compensation for damage due to a violation of water legislation, including by applying for offset of costs for measures aimed at preventing the discharge of pollutants.
